Welcome To Kim Dee Ministries
Hello there.....and thanks so much for stopping by!
I'm Kimberly Renee Davis but you can call me Kim Dee or KD for short.
I currently reside in Kansas City, Missouri, where I’ve lived all my life. I attended school and received my education in the Kansas City, Missouri School District.
While attending High School at Van Horn I had the distinct honor of singing in both the concert choir and the gospel choir, under the direction of the late Mr. William “Bill” Freeman. However that wasn’t my first time singing in the choir. At the age of 3 I started singing in the Little Voices choir. I sang my very first solo "I Am A Promise" under the direction of Mrs. Marie L. Rainey.
I’d like to share a comical story of my very first solo. The story goes a little like this; I’m told that I stood in front of the congregation singing, with the words to the song in my hand apparently up side down. Hysterically enough Mrs. Rainey says I refused to sing without the words. *giggles* Little did I know that this would be the beginning of a Singing Kim Dee.
Since my humble beginnings I have remained a faithful member of the Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church where Rev. Michael L. Murray is now the Pastor. It is this church where at the age of 12, I graciously gave my life to Christ. I am currently an active member of the Mass and Adult Choir.
Singing has always been a passion of mine and I consider it an honor to be able to bless God and His people through song. As a believer my primary responsibility is to Glorify God at all times. It is through the ministry of song that allows me to release and sing under the anointing that is on my life. As God continues to take me higher it is my prayer that you are encouraged, blessed, healed and delivered by what you hear. Continue to pray with me as I move forward in ministry.
My long awaited project "Ready" is set to be released this year. This is something I constantly dreamed about. I give thanks to God for bringing the vision to pass.
I would like to thank God for trusting me with a precious gift and anointing me for the task at hand. On October 2, 2014, I celebrated 25 years of service at Tension Envelope. I would lke to thank my fellow colleagues for their unwaivering support, my family, my church family and lastly my friends.
Your support and encouragement means everything to me. God bless you real good.
